Can you use Avon Skin So Soft Oil on your pets?

While Avon Skin So Soft Oil is marketed as a skincare product for humans, some pet owners have used it on their pets, particularly dogs, as a flea repellent or to soothe dry skin. However, it's important to note that Avon Skin So Soft Oil is not specifically formulated for use on animals, and using any product not intended for pets carries some risks.

Before using Avon Skin So Soft Oil or any other human skincare product on your pet, it's recommended to consult with a veterinarian. They can provide advice tailored to your pet's specific needs and may suggest alternative products that are safe and suitable for use on animals.

We use Skin So Soft oil on our dog, Rex. If your dog is suffering from dry skin, mix 1 tablespoon of Skin So Soft oil per gallon of water and use as a rinse. Spritz your pet's coat once per week with Avon Skin So Soft oil and work it down to the skin. This will help keep their skin supple and their coats shiny and smelling fresh.
